Your Friend in Operations
I’m Kenny Dalen. I work with founder-led teams navigating growth and change. As a trusted friend in operations, I help translate vision into a clear operating model by aligning people, priorities, and systems so the business can move forward with intention.
My Journey
I’m Kenny Dalen. I work with founder-led teams navigating growth and change.
I started my career as an engineer, but my real strength was never just the work. It was listening, connecting dots, and helping teams make progress without losing the human side of the business. Over time, that pull took me from engineering to project management, and eventually into operations — the place where strategy, people, and execution actually meet.
Operations became the work that fit. It allowed me to take a holistic view of how businesses run, while staying grounded in how people experience that work day to day.
What I Do
I help teams navigate moments of change by aligning people, priorities, and systems so the business can move forward with intention.
Most of the leaders I work with have momentum and a clear vision for what’s next. What they don’t always have is a way to integrate that vision into how the business actually operates. That gap is where progress slows and change starts to feel heavier than it needs to be.
My role is to help teams find their footing, regain perspective, and translate direction into an operating model the business can carry forward.
How I Work
I don’t believe change is solved with more tools or rigid frameworks. Instead, I focus on:
-
Clear ownership and decision-making
-
Shared language that reduces friction
-
Systems that support people instead of getting in their way
When those pieces are aligned, change becomes easier to lead and easier for teams to adopt.
What This Enables
When change is done well:
-
Teams move from reacting to leading
-
Decisions get faster and cleaner
-
Culture shows up in the work itself
-
The business feels easier to run, not harder
This is the kind of change that sticks. The kind that feels good because it’s deliberate, not rushed.
A Note on Pace
I believe in moving thoughtfully. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. That philosophy shapes how I work with teams and how I guide them through change.
Let’s Talk
If you’re navigating growth, change, or a transition that feels harder to see from the inside, I’d be glad to talk.
